Those who are terminally ill deserve to live their remaining time in an environment where emotional and spiritual needs are met, pain is managed and time with loved ones is as peaceful as possible. However, when symptoms or medical needs are very complex, or when caregivers need respite, this isn’t always possible at home. That’s why we also offer the services of the HospiceCare Center.
Located at 1855 Plaza Drive in Louisville, the Care Center is a comfortable, short-term residence that features compassionate, around-the-clock nursing care, state-of-the-art pain management, emotional and spiritual support and the personalized attention of trained volunteers.
The Care Center’s homelike accommodations include six private rooms and two double rooms for patients — complete with TVs, VCRs, and CD players for patient and family use, and fold-out beds so that family and friends may spend the night.
All of the staff members and volunteers at the Care Center are trained to provide personal, compassionate end-of-life care and each member of our team is committed to treating patients in a way that honors who they are and what they believe.
