Widowed Persons Service of Boulder (WPS) was organized in 1994 and is now sponsored by HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Its purpose is to offer support to women and men who have lost a spouse and are ready to reinvest in life.
WPS uses one-on-one telephone support and also gathers in small groups to confidentially discuss concerns. Some meetings feature a guest speaker.
